Where the data comes from
The market inputs on isk.gg come from ESI, the official EVE Online API from Fenris Creations, the studio formerly known as CCP Games. isk.gg stores those inputs and computes the aggregates and derived metrics shown in its tables and charts.
The source
isk.gg reads regional market endpoints, the separate global PLEX market and authenticated structure endpoints where EVE requires them. No scraping, no third party market feeds and no player-submitted prices. Item, region, system and station names come from ESI too. The math page states the arithmetic behind every computed number, from the table columns to the ticker.
Refresh
- Live orders
- collection is scheduled every five minutes, and pages update after a complete order cycle publishes
- Player structures
- read with the neutral scanner during the same scheduled order cycle
- New items
- names and market groups are picked up on the cycle they first appear
- Price history
- collection starts after noon UTC and retries incomplete regions through the day. Existing complete history stays visible while the new day is fetched.
- PLEX
- its own single global market, read on the same order cycle
When a cycle lands, open pages update in place. The groups page explains what that looks like in the item table. The status pills at the bottom of the screen show the connection, the order cycle and the newest history day live.

Honest limits
History is daily, so there is no intraday history and the newest day usually lags real time by one or two. History is also measured per region, never per system, station or structure.
Player structures appear when EVE lists a public market or isk.gg's neutral scanner can verify one. The access icon describes the evidence isk.gg has, not your personal docking rights. If a private structure book is unavailable, its structure-only orders are withheld while valid ranged regional buy orders may remain. The items page shows each access state with its icon.
If you are building something
isk.gg has no public API. Its market inputs come from ESI, whose official documentation explains the public and authenticated endpoints available to other projects. What the isk.gg server keeps for itself is listed on the privacy page, and it is small.
Free, without an account
The Market Browser is free and carries no ads. Reading the market needs no login, the data comes from EVE's official ESI rather than from any account of yours, and everything you save stays in your browser.
No login. Check any number yourself.
